## **About**

#### **Marta is an ecological economist specializing in multi-capital valuation and the design of regenerative economic systems at landscape scale.**&#x20;

Her research focuses on how bioregional coordination can be structured to make ecological and social value flows visible and measurable alongside financial flows, without reducing them to financial proxies.

Before joining BSL, she spent six years at NIBR leading a research program on ecosystem service valuation in Nordic fjord systems, working closely with municipal governments, fishing cooperatives, and indigenous Sámi communities. Her work on integrating situated knowledge into economic assessment frameworks directly informed the development of BioXD's C5 Flows methodology and the Multi-Flow Value Model.

She holds a PhD in Ecological Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a Masters in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg.
